I haven't updated in forever! Life has been a whirlwind for the last two months! My brother came out for Thanksgiving break and we spent a week having a blast. It was really good to get to see him and spend that time with him. I can't believe that he is 18! Its insane.
After that it was crunch time until finals...I spent almost 18 days studying/taking tests. It was brutal. I came out okay, so I guess I can't complain to much.
When my finals were over I flew home to Idaho for a short visit. I want to write in complete detail about the magic that occurred, but I don't have time to do it justice...so I will write about that tomorrow on my lunch break. It was a dream though, everything I could have wanted and more (until the last day...and then it was complete heartbreak)
From Idaho, I flew to California and spent time with my PapaBear. This was our first Christmas without Grandma...and it was so hard. But this trip will be one of my favorite memories for the rest of my life. My Grandfather and I got to spend quality time together and became closer then ever.
I have to say that the new year has already started in a fast pace. But I have to take the time to slow down and remember the things I have learned this past year and take the time to express gratitude for special things: I am beyond grateful for God's grace. He makes up for so much in my life. Things are definitely hard at times, but Heavenly Father makes up for all the loss ten fold. I have a strong testimony and it is my saving grace through it all. I am so blessed with my family, my friends, and my schooling opportunities. I am grateful for service and the joy that it brings into my life. I am grateful for life, for happiness, and for each of you.
